Obviously, once the airwaves and Internet lit up with talk of the Cleveland Browns trading away their entire draft to the St. Louis Rams for the No. 1 overall pick so they could take Oklahoma Sooners QB Sam Bradford, it begged for some sort of comment out of St. Louis.
Take this for what it's worth, but a Rams source told Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that, "There will be no surprises." Of course, that source didn't flat out say Bradford was still in the Rams' sights, but it was an interesting tidbit on PFT: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/04/22/rams-there-will-be-no-surprises/
And speaking of quarterbacks, it was widely believed that the Minnesota Vikings would go after one in the first round regardless of whether or not Brett Favre decides to come back, but a series of tweets by Steve Wyche of NFL.com and Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune suggest that the Vikings will go in a different direction and not go after Texas QB Colt McCoy: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/04/22/report-vikings-wont-take-qb-at-no-30/
