Cleveland Keeping Everyone Guessing

Mike Holmgren and the crew inside the Browns' war room are keeping everybody guessing about what they plan to do with the seventh overall pick, and that's the name of the game.

Whenever a PFT post on the Rumor Mill contains five separate links it's clear that someone has done a very good job confusing everybody out there: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/04/22/mixed-signals-rampant-on-browns-pick/

Are they going to take a quarterback, a defensive end, a safety or become dance partners in a trade to acquire more picks? With barely over two hours left before thing gets going, and with that pick coming about an hour into the first round, there is still plenty of maneuvering that will surely take place.

In the meantime, those Clevelanders still in baseball mode had something to cheer about as their Indians knocked off the Minnesota Twins at the Twins' shiny new ballpark in Minneapolis, Target Field, 6-1.

All right, let's see what other dirt I can dig up. The shovel is getting heavy.
